What does the DasLoop smart helmet monitor?

DasLoop monitors fall and standstill detection via a built-in accelerometer, heart rate, body temperature, and GPS location — all streamed in real time to the DasIoT cloud platform. Workers can also download personal health reports from the platform.

How does DasLoop detect falls and accidents?

DasLoop uses a built-in accelerometer to detect sudden impacts (falls) and prolonged motionlessness (standstill). When either is detected, an alert appears on the DasIoT dashboard and a push notification is sent to the site supervisor's phone.

Does DasLoop have a camera, and what is it used for?

Yes. DasLoop includes a built-in camera supporting up to 1080p at 10 fps. It enables live video streaming from the worker's perspective to supervisors monitoring the DasIoT dashboard, improving remote oversight of hazardous operations.

What safety certifications does DasLoop hold?

DasLoop is registered in Japan's NETIS New Technology Information System (registration number KT-230309) by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. It is also certified as a fall-protection helmet (墜落時保護用安全帽) in Japan (2024).

How does DasLoop connect to the DasIoT cloud platform?

DasLoop transmits data wirelessly to the DasIoT cloud platform in real time. DasIoT aggregates data from all helmets on site into a single management dashboard, giving supervisors live worker locations, health status, and safety alerts.
